The List

High school me? Curious, competitive, and lowkey wild.

There were two things that really stood out back then. One, when girls started whispering about who they were sleeping with. At first, I was just listening. But then I started wondering… what was really making them giggle in the hallway the next morning?

So, naturally, I had to find out for myself. No love lost, no strings, just checked it off the list and kept it moving.

The other thing? Me and a friend had this little competition. We started keeping track, our own private scorecard of sorts. It wasn’t about feelings, just fun. We’d compare notes and try to cross names off from this unofficial lineup — a mix of the bold, the boring, and everything in between from our high school and post-high school lives.

Did we finish? Probably not. But to this day… there are still a few names that haven’t been crossed off. Some I’ve forgotten. Some I still remember. And some?

Let’s just say, if the opportunity ever came back around… I wouldn’t mind adding a few more checkmarks.
